Sean Conway stayed hot at the weekend, pouring in a Dragons Big V season-high 42 points to lead our Championship Men to a 96-89 road win against Melbourne University at Nona Lee Sports Centre.

It was another big night at the office for Conway, who shot the ball at a blistering 64 per cent (3-of-7 from the three-point line) and pulled down 10 rebounds to go with six assists and three steals as the Dragons rallied from two points down with a quarter left to play to reel in their host.

Mike Reeves added an 18-points, 11-rebound double-double and Ben Crowe closed with 14 points and four boards for Camberwell, which won for the fifth time in seven games and improved to 6-9 overall.

The story in this one, though, was Conway, who's piled up some huge numbers since making a late start to the season with the Dragons.

The former St John's University guard has averaged just under 32 points in his nine outings for Camberwell to lead the league in scoring and has been a force on the glass, too – pulling down just under 12 boards a game to be second in the competition in that category.

Next up for our Champ Men is back-to-back home games this weekend. The Dragons host Hume City at Boroondara Sports Complex on Saturday night (7pm) before going head to head with McKinnon at Balwyn High School on Sunday (2pm).

In other Dragons Big V games over the weekend, our Youth League Women turned back Geelong United at BSC on Saturday night before falling on the road to Ballarat on Sunday, our Division 1 Women lost on the road at Melbourne University, and our Youth League Men dropped a home game against Blackburn at BSC on Saturday before losing at Ballarat on Sunday afternoon.
