Many of our players come from our affiliated domestic clubs, Koonung Comets, Balwyn Blazers, Ivanhoe Knights and Whitehorse Mustangs, who play in the EDJBA. However, players from any domestic club or association are welcome to be a part of Camberwell Dragons. We don’t require our players to play domestic basketball with one of our affiliated clubs, but we do require all junior players to participate in domestic basketball as well. Please contact our affiliated basketball clubs if you would like to play domestic basketball.

EDJBA

Eastern Districts Junior Basketball Association (EDJBA) is the largest junior competition in Australia, with more than 1000 teams and almost 10,000 participants. It is an all-inclusive Association that prides itself on providing an exceptional competition suitable for all abilities. Its focus is on participation in a safe and enjoyable environment.

The EDJBA has 19 clubs/associations (member clubs) who provide the participants for the association. They each vary in size, location and philosophy, ensuring the right fit for you. The member clubs are spread from Eltham to Nunawading and from Park Orchards to Collingwood.

The EDJBA feels strongly about providing an opportunity for all participants to be exposed to core values such as teamwork, leadership, commitment, confidence, sportsmanship, respect, healthy choices and, most importantly, developing friendships for life. The EDJBA is made up of families who want to support their children and provides many areas for involvement.

Camberwell Dragons support the values of the EDJBA and have four affiliated clubs playing in the competition. Please click on the links below to contact each club.
