CAMBERWELL BASKETBALL

The TOC

Officials play an integral role in any game, ensuring it is played fairly and safely within the rules. Many of our officials take on various roles at Camberwell Basketball, with some being players and coaches at Camberwell Dragons and with teams in the Community Basketball League.

It’s always a proud moment to see a junior player become a coach or take on the challenge of learning more about the game as an official. We’re all participants in the sport we love and members of a great association.

At Camberwell, our Technical Officials Commission (TOC):

  • Represents the interests of all officials, including referees, referee coaches, scoretable personnel and statisticians
  • Sets objectives, defines policy, develops strategic direction and makes decisions in relation to the officials
  • Maintains good governance and introduces ethical standards into daily activities
  • Monitors the performance of management and volunteer teams

Our Mission and Values

To create an inclusive, safe and fun community, with a commitment and focus on growth,
both personally and professionally

  • To nurture and support our officials, ensuring a strong focus on their welfare
  • To provide opportunities to be a part of the Camberwell community through
