CAMBERWELL BASKETBALL

Walking Basketball

Walking Basketball is a low-impact, social and fun way to improve levels of physical activity for inactive and slightly inactive individuals, including those recovering from injury. This free program is for participants of all ages, genders and abilities. And even better, it doesn't matter if you haven't played our great game before. Our 2024 program continues on Wednesday mornings at Boroondara Sports Complex in Term 2.

After a fantastic first year at Boroondara Sports Complex in 2023, Camberwell District Basketball Association’s (CDBA) Walking Basketball program is back on Wednesday mornings at BSC in 2024.

And it doesn’t matter if you haven’t played our great game before. Walking Basketball is a low-impact, social and fun way to improve the levels of physical activity for inactive and slightly active individuals, including those recovering from injury, and is for participants of all ages and abilities.

It provides health benefits to all who participate, including those who might be intimidated by the pace and impact of a traditional basketball game but love the slower more social version of Walking Basketball.
