Camberwell Basketball provides opportunities for all athletes to reach their full potential and to compete at the highest possible level. Our basketball program enables you to practise and improve your skills with our coaches and to contribute to a strong sense of team and sporting community.
Development Squad
Developing our junior players is integral to Camberwell Dragons’ success.
We understand the importance of developing our members and providing all players the opportunity from a young age to learn from a range of coaches within the club. Our Development Squad runs weekly in Term 3 of the school year and is suited to players aged eight-11 who’ve played some Playball or domestic basketball, and are looking to improve their skills and get a taste of “representative basketball-style” training.
Players in our Under 12 and Under 14 Dragons teams are offered the opportunity to attend a Camberwell Development Program with their teammates and coach. For older age groups, the development program allows for individual registration.
For players to improve their game, additional work is required away from their Friday night game and team practice sessions. This program allows players to do just that.
