Camberwell District Basketball Association (CDBA) is pleased to announce the re-election of ST Tan as President at its Annual General Meeting on November 16, 2025.

In addressing members, ST reflected on the continued growth and positive momentum across the Association, stating: "It has been another remarkable year for our Association as we continue to strengthen basketball’s place as one of the leading sports in our community.”

The Association also confirmed its elected Committee for the year ahead, with ST joined by Vice President Craig Shearer, Treasurer Sarah Liao (Acting), Secretary Justin McKernan and general committee members Amanda Bailey, Brent Lomer and Thomas Denovan, with Conor Mathews set to join early next year.

The Association extends its sincere appreciation to outgoing committee members Mark Sowden and Rachel Jeffers, with special recognition given to Rachel for her outstanding 20-year contribution across multiple roles, including player, coach and committee member. We wish her every success as she prepares for baby number two.

During the AGM, the Association also paid tribute to Mandy Mathews, whose extraordinary service marks the close of a significant chapter in Camberwell Basketball’s history.

Mandy has been at the heart of the Association for many years, embodying its values and making an immeasurable contribution to its growth, culture and operations. Her passion, leadership and dedication have positively impacted countless players, families, volunteers and committee members. The Association offers its deepest thanks and warmest wishes as she embarks on her next chapter.

As always, the strength of our Association lies in its people, and the Committee extends its heartfelt gratitude to all members, volunteers, coaches, staff, partners and sponsors for their ongoing commitment, passion and support, which continue to drive everything we do.
