Jackson Meshanic cut loose for a Big V career-high 44 points and 14 rebounds as your Championship Men stayed alive in the playoff race with a 101-87 road win against highly rated McKinnon at GESAC on Sunday afternoon.

Meshanic shot the ball at a blistering 67 per cent from the field, went 5-of-8 from the three-point line and handed out four assists to go with three steals for Camberwell, which set up one of its best wins of the season with a 60-41 first half.

It was another quality performance from Meshanic, who's averaged just under 33 points over his past five games and ranks third in the league in scoring (23.6ppg) and rebounding (11.6rpg).

Brennen Burns added 24 points, seven boards, six assists and three steals for the Dragons, who closed the round as one of three teams with a 7-9 record (Sunbury and Bellarine are the others).

Division 1 Women: Altona 60 d. Dragons 44 at Altona Sports Centre

Eleni Valos registered a 10-point, 14-rebound double-double, Katie Harrington added 11 points and Tilly Quartel had four points and 10 boards who were within three points of the Gators at the half. The Dragons are seventh and one of three teams with a 6-10 record heading into the last two rounds of the regular season.

Youth League Men: Dragons 73 d. Ballarat 71 at Boroondara Sports Complex (BSC)

Billy Barton led the way with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals as the Dragons held off the fast-finishing Miners for a 73-71 win at BSC on Saturday night. Tyson Mackenzie added 13 points and four boards for Camberwell.

Youth League Men: Dragons 84 d. McKinnon 51 at GESAC

Billy Barton had a game-high 22 points and eight rebounds for the Dragons, who led from start to finish in a commanding 84-51 rout of the Cougars at GESAC on Sunday. Will Sinclair added 12 points and five boards for Camberwell, which closed its regular season with a 15-5 record and in third place behind Coburg (16-4) and Sunbury (16-4).

Youth League Women: Dragons 78 d. Ballarat 18 at BSC

Your Youth League Women opened with a 24-2 first quarter at BSC on Saturday night and was never headed in their final game of the season. Tilly Quartel had 15 points and six rebounds on a night when all 12 Dragons scored. Camberwell closed its season with a 10-12 record and in seventh place.
