Your Youth League Men are moving on in the Big V finals after fending off a late charge from Bulleen in Sunday's playoff opener at Balwyn High School.

In front of a packed and boisterous home crowd, Billy Barton led the way with an 18-point, 17-rebound double-double, Jesse Macleod also had 18 points and Matt Marcun added 13 points, three assists and two steals for Camberwell, which steadied and then pulled away for a 78-69 win.

The Dragons didn't have it all their own way, with Bulleen taking a one-point lead in the final quarter, but made some big plays down the stretch to put the Boomers away for good and set up a semi-final date with Sunbury at Boardman Stadium next weekend.
