Camberwell Dragons congratulate Ace Adama, Maddy Grossman, Mia Demarte, Gemma Fyffe, Tilly Grech and Lachlan Viney – our Big V Players of the Week.
• Adama (pictured) led the way with 12 points, six rebounds and six assists as our Youth League Men pulled away from Westgate at BSC on Saturday night to improve to 4-1.
• Grossman finished with 14 points (4-of-9 shooting from the three-point line) and two assists as our Youth League Women improved to 3-0 with a home win against visiting Whittlesea at BSC.
• Demarte earned high praise from coach Danni Fidge for her work at the defensive end after our Youth League Women stayed unbeaten after four games with a hard-fought road win against Eltham.
• Fyffe had 11 points, five rebounds and six assists as our Division 1 Women fell on the road at Western Port on Saturday.
• Grech closed with 10 points, three rebounds and two assists in our D1 Women's team's loss to Whittlesea at Balwyn High on Sunday.
• And Viney led our Championship Men with 18 points and three steals in their season-opening loss on the road against Bellarine.
