Anna Burrows erupted for a season-high 35 points to lead our Big V Division 1 Women to a 71-65 win against visiting Melbourne University at Balwyn High School today.
Burrows (pictured) added four rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Dragons, who shook off a slow start to celebrate Zoe Scott's 150th Big V game for Camberwell in style.
Eleni Valos had seven points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Dragons, who improved to 4-3.
In the second game of today's double header at Balwyn, Melbourne University pulled away in the second half for a 98-89 win against our Championship Men.
Mike Reeves posted his third straight double-double for the Dragons, finishing with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Trent Andre added 18 points, six rebounds and four assists, and Tori Odom also finished with 18 points.
