More great news for Camberwell Basketball today, with nine junior Dragons selected to compete at January's Southern Cross Challenge (SCC) in Melbourne.
Basketball Victoria named six players from the Dragons girls program – Jasmine Ager (16.1), Alexia Angelopoulos (16.1), Maeve Gray (14.1), Emily Lai (16.2), Ella Philpin (16.1) and Ella Tankovich (16.1) – with our boys program to be represented by Bailey Russell (14.1), Darcy Jacobs (14.1) and Jake Zeunert (14.1).
Athletes will gain insight into elite development and higher-level gameplay across two elite junior tournaments at the Challenge, which opens on Friday, January 19.
Today's news follows this week's announcement that Max Pavey, from our 16.1 Boys, and Sophie Richardson, from our 16.1 Girls, were named to play for Victoria at January's East Coast Challenge (ECC) in Penrith, New South Wales.
On behalf of all at Camberwell Dragons, congratulations to our SCC and ECC representatives.
