South East Melbourne Phoenix will be playing for its survival in the National Basketball League playoffs when it goes head to head with Illawarra Hawks in Game 2 of their best-of-three semi-final series at John Cain Arena on Sunday afternoon (2.30pm).

Illawarra opened with a 101-94 win in Wollongong on Friday night, putting it within one win of advancing to the championship series and leaving Phoenix needing a win to keep its title hopes alive. Tickets for tomorrow's game are available at Ticketek.

On the other side of the NBL playoff bracket, Melbourne United will be looking to close out its semi-final series against Perth when it meets the Wildcats in the west tonight.
