Camberwell Dragons today thanked Olly Reid for his work as head coach of our Big V Championship Men's team and for his contribution to the entire Dragons program in 2023.
Olly has stepped down from his role with the Championship Men to spend more time with his young family and to handle increased work commitments, and moves on with fond memories of his time at Camberwell.
"It's been an amazing opportunity to coach in the Championship division," he said.
"I think the club is really well placed moving into the future and I'm looking forward to seeing the success from afar. It's been great with the connections I've made here as well."
Olly has been an active member of the Camberwell community during his time at the club, working in Camberwell District Basketball Association's school holiday camp program and presenting a well-received CDBA Coaches' Clinic early this year.
"On behalf of the Camberwell Dragons community, I thank Olly for his contribution to the Championship Men's team this season and wish him the very best for his work with the Ivanhoe Knights," CDBA chief executive officer Ross Wignell said.
"We look forward to him remaining involved with the Dragons program."
Olly is the Player & Coach Development Director at Ivanhoe Knights and has a passion for working with, and developing, young players.
Thank you again for your contribution, Olly, good luck with the Knights and for wherever your coaching journey takes you in the future.
