Camberwell Basketball is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Canterbury Girls’ Secondary College.
CGSC and Camberwell Basketball – which includes the Camberwell Dragons, the Community Basketball League, and a wide range of on and off-court development programs – will work closely together to deliver a range of opportunities to students, including:
• Access to high-level coaching
• Skill development sessions
• And potential pathways into local competitions
“We’re delighted to be beginning this exciting new partnership with Canterbury Girls’ Secondary College and looking forward to working with students, teachers and staff, and being an active and engaged member of the school community,” Camberwell Basketball Communications Manager Andrew Johnstone said.
“Camberwell Basketball is passionate about our sport, our community and developing young people and leaders, and we’re proud to be setting out on this journey with a school that shares our values.
“We’re ready to help the school foster a love for our great game while supporting students in building teamwork, resilience and physical fitness.”
Students and the wider Canterbury Girls’ Secondary College community will also have access to Camberwell Basketball’s Outside the Lines program, which promotes career opportunities in the sporting world, including journalism, photography, social media, coaching, event management, game night operations, refereeing and so much more.
