DATES THAT MATTER: We know your end-of-year diary is filling up fast, so we’re here to help make life easy for your (OK, as easy as we can!). With that in mind, here’s some dates we urge you to make a note of (Go on, do it now. You know you want to!):

Week commencing December 2 – Last Dragons midweek training for the year.
Friday, December 6 – last Friday VJBL game for the year.
Sunday, January 19 – First Dragons training for 2025.
Friday, January 24–Monday, January 27 – Eltham Dandenong Tournament.
Sunday, February 16 – VJBL Dragons team photo day. SAVE THE DATE!

LET’S GO, DRAGONS:
Congratulations to the Camberwell Dragons 12.1 Girls and 16.1 Girls, who will compete at the highest level of Victorian junior basketball this season after both won their VJBL grading games on Friday night. Our 12.1s improved to 3-0 and clinched their place in the Victorian Championship (VC) division with a big win against Pakenham at Balwyn High School, while the 16.1s advanced with a 51-36 victory against Broadmeadows 1 at Balwyn High. Jasmine Ager closed with a game-high 16 points to pace Camberwell, which also improved to 3-0.

DRAGONS ON TOUR: There’s more than one way to help our Dragons On Tour USA 2024/25 travelling party make their trip to the United States this month one they’ll remember for ever. To find out how you can assist their fundraising efforts by buying a ticket/or tickets in their Ultimate Holiday Hampers Raffle, click HERE. Ticket sales close at 7pm on December 11, so you better get in fast. The travelling party leaves Melbourne on December 26 for a three-week tour of the United States.
