Our 18.4 Boys, led by coach Oscar Percy, pulled away in the second half against Whittlesea 2 at Montmorency Secondary College on Friday night to win the VJL 6 (P2) Grand Final.
The Dragons turned their five-point lead at the half into a 10-point break at the end of three quarters and weren't headed again on their way to a 60-42 win.
Game MVP Christian Saman closed with 11 points and was one of three double-digit scorers for Camberwell, which outscored the Pacers 37-24 after half-time. Lucas Chan had 12 and Brooklyn Ridley added 10.
It was another impressive performance by the Dragons, who had to qualify for the grand final the hard way after finishing fourth at the end of the regular season.
