Camberwell Basketball is proud to introduce world-class Disability Extreme Athlete Bobby Bajram as an ambassador of the Camberwell Dragons.

The youngest person in Australia diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis – at the age of 13 more than 40 years ago – Bobby has gone on to scale some of the world's highest mountains and is now in training to climb Mount Everest in 2027.

"Bobby's inspiring story is one of extraordinary courage, determination and resilience, and we're excited to welcome him into our community," Camberwell Basketball Communications, Community Engagement and Partnerships Manager Andrew Johnstone said.

"He brings an infectious and upbeat personality, genuine warmth and an enormous energy to our program and will quickly become a very popular member of our club. We're proud to have him on board with us as an ambassador and look forward to doing great things together."

Bobby, pictured here with Camberwell Basketball committee member Brent Lomer (left) and president ST Tan (right), will be out and about often with the Dragons in his new role – attending games, training sessions and club events – so if you see him on your travels, please introduce yourself and make him feel welcome.

Bobby has a long history with basketball dating back to the '70s, when he played and refereed at the old Albert Park Stadium. He is already well know to some members of the Dragons program after speaking at a Camberwell In Business networking event last year.
