With opening day of Basketball Australia's Foot Locker Under 14 Club Championships exactly a month away and the Victorian Championship (VC) Finals almost here, these are fun and exciting times for Camberwell Dragons 14.1 Boys.
This talented young crew, led by Conor Mathews and his coaching staff, will become the first Camberwell team to compete at a national championship when it tips things off at Casey Stadium next month, but before then has plenty of work left to do in the VC season.
Currently fourth behind Casey, Keilor and Knox, the Dragons will close their VC regular season commitments on the road against the Spectres at Nunawading on Friday before turning their attention to the finals.
These guys and their support team have been busy off the court, too, raising the extra funds they need for their Under 14 Club Championship campaign. To learn more about how you can help them along the way, please visit their GoFundMe page HERE.
The 14.1 Boys are proudly supported by Monopoly Dreams, BG Private, Kim's Cleaning and Home Care Services, Melbourne Sports Photography, Bread Street (Mont Albert), Bennet's Butchery (Canterbury) and Rocket Digital on the road to the Championships.

On a night the Dragons celebrated a club favourite, our Big V D1 Women held off Chelsea for their fourth straight win.
Rachel Jeffers will write another chapter in Camberwell Dragons' rich history when she plays her 200th Big V game for the club on Saturday.
Alec Mulqueeney, Sean Conway, Rachel Jeffers, Caleb Lingwood-Smith, Zoe Johnson and Maddy Grossman are Camberwell Dragons' Big V Players of the Week.
