Are you a domestic basketball coach looking to take another step in your coaching journey but not sure where to go next?
Or perhaps you’re a former representative-level coach thinking about returning to the sidelines but wondering whether you really have the time to do it all again.
If you’ve got questions to ask and some time to spare on Monday night, May 19, Camberwell Dragons Boys Director of Coaching Steve Lunardon will be at the CDBA office in Kew to arm you with the information you need to help you decide whether representative basketball coaching is for you.
Steve will cover a range of topics and answer your questions in this free and interactive 90-minute session, including, but not limited to:
• Can anyone coach a rep basketball team?
• What are the traits of a successful coach?
• How much time do you need to commit?
• The importance of Communication – with players, parents and guardians.
• How to prepare a training plan.
• The satisfaction that comes with coaching a representative-level team and playing such an important role in helping our young athletes become the best they can be – on and off the court.
• The support network available to coaches at Camberwell Dragons.
Participants will be encouraged to ask questions throughout and Steve will be available after the session to answer any questions or address topics that may not have been covered during the presentation.
